Responsibilities

  • Obtain and analyze investment manager documentation including offering memorandums, fund formation documents, deal documents, financial statements, regulatory filings, due diligence questionnaires, and policies and procedures.
  • Prepare written reports for internal and external distribution documenting the due diligence performed, findings, and recommendations to support conclusions.
  • Maintain and track remediation/action plans with managers
  • Maintain and track remediation/action plans with managers; escalate material issues to Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk, and present at the appropriate governance forums.
  • Proactively identify and support efforts/projects to evolve the team's practice in operational due diligence.
  • Contribute to client deliverables including ODD sections of due diligence reports, RFPs/RFIs, and responses to client operational questionnaires; support client meetings as subject-matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required; MBA or CFA preferred.

Nice to have

  • Identify key areas of operational risk and confirm that the manager has completed associated remediation actions and/or implemented appropriate mitigating controls.
  • Communicate summary conclusions to internally interested parties and conduct follow-up with investment managers on any recommendations or risk findings, as needed.
  • escalate material issues to Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk, and present at the appropriate governance forums.
  • Ensure records management/data systems are maintained and up to date.
  • Contribute to client deliverables including ODD sections of due diligence reports, RFPs/RFIs, and responses to client operational questionnaires
  • Stay current with industry best practices and key events across applicable areas (e.g., regulatory, technology/systems, trading).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required

Compensation

  • $110,000 USD - $150,000 USD
  • Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
