About the role

  • As a member of the development team, within our Montreal studio, the Game Developer will be responsible for programming new interactive casino games creating high-quality games, stable products and meeting established deadlines.
  • The developer will also improve the proprietary game engine as new needs arise to further increase product quality or to open new markets.
  • Work with mathematicians to balance the game server to a precise statistical outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build game servers.
  • Design solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
  • Participate in code reviews and game design.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science / software engineering or equivalent experience coding with at least one object-oriented programming language (such as Java, C#, Python, etc).
  • Analyze new product requirements and provide technical insights into the work required.
  • Good understanding of OOP principles.
  • Good understanding of unit testing and integration testing.
  • Understanding of basic database operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Skills in the Java Spring Framework, an asset.

Skills

  • Help extend the server framework.
  • Endowed with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
