- Role Synopsis BPX Energy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Production Systems Engineer to join our team and help revolutionize our US onshore operations.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for any employer other than your current employer
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, software, and engineering and mathematical ideas.

Nice to have
- Champion the adoption of best practices for software development, including version control, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly related to Petroleum Engineering, preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, especially for data-intensive applications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Competency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster+ preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

- $165,000-$194,000
