Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) i n business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field and
3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance with a focus on import compliance matters.
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to understand and interpret and apply U.
Experience and ability to determine HTS Classifications, assign correct Country of Origin and determine the appropriate value for imports
Experience and k nowledge of Customs Entry Declaration process
Experience with Entry Process Audit, Post Entry Audit and Post Summary Corrections
Ability to make solid independent judgments and determinations
Experience with ACE and CTPAT portal
Experience with a pplication of Trade Agreements
Ability to understand and interpret and apply U. S. Import regulations
Ability to develop and document procedures and processes
Communicate clearly with brokers and government agencies
Duty mitigation procedures
Customs Broker's license desired
