Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) i n business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field and
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance with a focus on import compliance matters.
  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret and apply U.
  • Experience and ability to determine HTS Classifications, assign correct Country of Origin and determine the appropriate value for imports
  • Experience and k nowledge of Customs Entry Declaration process
  • Experience with Entry Process Audit, Post Entry Audit and Post Summary Corrections
  • Ability to make solid independent judgments and determinations
  • Experience with ACE and CTPAT portal
  • Experience with a pplication of Trade Agreements
  • Ability to understand and interpret and apply U. S. Import regulations
  • Ability to develop and document procedures and processes
  • Communicate clearly with brokers and government agencies
  • Duty mitigation procedures
  • Customs Broker's license desired
