About the role

As a full-time (FTE) / dedicated Ford of Canada Communications team member, through NATIONAL Public Relations, the Senior Communications Specialist role will contribute to Ford's transformation and the company's future vision.
This position is project-oriented and will challenge you to demonstrate strategic thinking, business acumen and technical skills.

Inspires advocacy, builds the Ford brand and creates desire for our vehicles, experiences and technology solutions
Demonstrates our drive to create value for stakeholders through Ford+
Inspires a culture of optimism, competitiveness and creative excellence among our Ford team and partners

5 to 10+years of experience in internal and employee, brand and/or corporate communications.
Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels.
Proficiency with digital and social media tools relevant to content development, publishing and reporting.
A self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking with plan development and execution.
Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, journalism, media studies, marketing, advertising or a related field.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently.
News reporting or editing experience.
Abilities
Strong project and program management skills.
Critical thinking and sound problem-solving ability.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
Initiative, accountability and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
