About the role

The Project Director of Math Improvement provides strategic leadership for the Office of Math Improvement and oversees the implementation of the Oklahoma Math Achievement and Proficiency Act.
This position advances statewide mathematics achievement by promoting evidence-based instructional practices, monitoring program implementation and outcomes, developing guidance and professional learning resources, and collaborating with educators, administrators, policymakers, vendors, and stakeholders.
The Project Director leads office initiatives, supports compliance with statutory requirements, analyzes data to inform decision-making, and fosters cross-functional partnerships to ensure effective, aligned, and impactful mathematics improvement efforts across Oklahoma schools.
