About the role

- Contribute to improving PlanHub's SDLC and release processes by embedding quality checks earlier in the development cycle and driving QA best practices.
Responsibilities
- Built with tradespeople in mind, PlanHub is designed around the user workflow to boost productivity, maintain deadlines, increase revenue, and create lasting relationships.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to validate requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and maintain clear communication throughout the sprint cycle.
- Investigate, document, and report defects with precision and partnering with engineering teams to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and prevent regressions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and regression suites in tools like Zephyr Scale.
- Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable insights to enhance product stability and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 3 years of experience in any occupation with Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a SaaS or web-based platform environment.
- 2 years of experience writing SQL queries and validating data integrity in MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Employer will accept a Master's degree in any field and one (1) year of experience in any occupation with Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a SaaS or web-based platform environment.
