About the role

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System.
It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to improve performance.
C2BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems.

In this role, the candidate will support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) Program by assisting with the implementation, maintenance, and security of the enterprise network infrastructure.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience
or a Master's degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience
or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Must be able to travel to alternate work sites, like Schriever Space Force Base, to perform job duties, including deployments
Must be familiar with the OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls
Will be required to learn DoD security processes and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers
Participate in operational support activities, including occasional after-hours, weekend, or mission-critical support as required to maintain system availability and support real-world events
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application are highly preferred
Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA-SEC, or an equivalent credential are highly desired
Knowledge of other virtual network technologies, such as NSX, vSAN, and Aria
Experience with network automation through Ansible or scripting languages
Prior C2BMC experience

$91,800.00 - $137,600.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
