$13,131 more — $139,131 — moves this role to Level III and 3 lottery entries. That figure is inside the range the employer already advertised.

Based on the DOL prevailing wage for this occupation and worksite, a base salary of $139,131 would place this position at wage Level III. That figure is within the posted range, and I'd like to target it. This role classifies under "Industrial Engineers" for prevailing-wage purposes.

About the role

  • Our work spans battery cells, pack architecture, mechanical integration, electrical systems, battery management, thermal management, charging, safety, validation, and manufacturing.
  • You will work hands-on with cells, modules, packs, test systems, and complete robots, using data from laboratory testing and real-world operation to continuously improve performance, safety, lifetime, and manufacturability.
  • Improve battery energy density, power capability, thermal performance, cycle life, reliability, and serviceability through iterative engineering and testing

Responsibilities

  • We're building humanoid robots that work in home - doing the chores, handling the tasks, and giving people their time back.
  • NEO is our flagship - a home robot designed to move, learn, and operate in the real world alongside real people.
  • We're scaling, we're hiring with intention, and we need people who want to build something that will genuinely change how humans spend their time - safely creating abundance for all.
  • We partner closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Embedded Software, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver battery systems that perform safely and consistently in real-world environments.
  • Build the battery systems that keep humanoid robots moving.
  • You will own critical elements of NEO's battery system from architecture and component selection through design, prototyping, characterization, validation, and production.
  • You will develop compact, lightweight, safe, and reliable battery solutions capable of supporting the dynamic power requirements of a humanoid robot operating every day around people.
