Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Departments, Production, and Supervisors to establish production priorities and resolve technical or workflow challenges.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Supervisors, Leads, and artists across multiple productions.
  • Identify production risks early and develop proactive solutions that balance creative goals with production timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with Pipeline and Technical teams to develop and implement new tools, workflows, and production technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical solutions that support both creative and production goals.
  • Our talented team includes specialists across the entire animation pipeline, working alongside creative and management professionals to deliver outstanding animated content.
  • Known for our commitment to quality, efficiency, and timely deliveries, ICON has partnered with distributors, broadcasters, and leading streaming platforms worldwide to create and produce noteworthy, impactful projects.
  • Collaborate on top-tier feature and episodic CG franchises for major streaming platforms, including Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, Amazon, Peacock, and Paramount+.
  • You provide leadership and technical direction across the CG pipeline, identifying production challenges, developing practical solutions, and helping teams deliver high-quality work within schedule and budget.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of modeling, rigging, animation, FX, lighting, compositing, and rendering processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard CG software, including Autodesk Maya and Foundry Nuke.
  • Experience with dynamic simulation systems, including cloth, hair, and character effects workflows.

Compensation

  • Additional compensation may be considered based on experience, qualifications, and project needs, where permitted by the collective agreement.
