About the role
- It helps stylists finish braids 5 times faster, flawlessly and gently.
- Billions of hours are spent braiding hair each year.
- We're moving from R&D into deployment with salons, and backed by leading investors Seven Seven Six, AlleyCorp, and Bling Capital.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, debug, and document embedded systems design
- Collaborate with mechanical, design, and electrical engineers, as well as users
- Electronics prototyping and design
- Mechanical design
- User centric, you want to build stuff people use and love
Requirements
- Experience with motion control for a variety of actuator types (e.g. stepper motors, servo motors, brushed and brushless DC motors)
- Experience with Python and Embedded C/C++
- Experience implementing feedback control systems
- Experience with complex embedded systems
- Complementary engineering experience:
Skills
- Experience in implementing robust perception and computer vision solutions in high speed low-latency applications.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g. Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, MQTT)
