  • Our partner is looking for a Business Affairs Manager (Manager, Contracts) based in the United States.
  • The Business Affairs Manager will oversee contract operations and support the successful delivery of innovative campaigns and content projects.
  • You will play a key part in protecting business interests while empowering teams to deliver impactful work across multiple channels and platforms.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented business affairs professional with experience supporting creative, marketing, advertising, or production environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in business affairs, legal, contracts, or compliance roles within advertising, marketing, media, or related industries.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements, including talent agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and production contracts.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property rights, licensing, trademarks, copyrights, and talent usage rights.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, media production, content creation workflows, and platform-based campaigns.
  • Familiarity with broadcast, social media, creator partnerships, branded content, and new media environments.

Nice to have

  • a JD is preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting union and non-union productions, including familiarity with agreements involving organizations such as SAG-AFTRA or IATSE, is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field

Compensation

  • Competitive annual salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 USD.
