About the role

  • Project Summary AIS is seeking a Data Engineer for an AI Engineering contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Must have experience with Python, pandas, pandera, SQL, Postgres, Databricks, and Spark.
  • Must have a strong Python background.
  • Must be comfortable working with large data workflows (100GB+).
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

  • A related certification is preferred but not required.

Compensation

  • At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $110,000-$166,000 per year.
