About the role
- AIG is seeking a Fraud Investigations Manager who is fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) to join the Global Investigative Group ("GIG") team in our New York Office.
- GIG is a specialized unit within AIG's Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Department.
- The GLCR team ensures an operating environment that minimizes legal, regulatory and reputational risks and complies with all laws and regulations and AIG policies & procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform email reviews to identify evidence of fraud and to corroborate information uncovered during the investigative process. Summarize and present the results of email reviews to management highlighting relevant facts and observations.

Requirements
- Proficiency in Spanish is required, and a knowledge of Portuguese is highly desired.
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting/Finance or other relevant degree.
- Possess knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial and operational controls, as well as an understanding of internal auditing standards, and risk-assessment practices.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to effectively prioritize initiatives to meet expectations.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint.
- Ability to present complex and sensitive issues to all levels of senior management.
- Work closely with GIG team to execute investigations and special reviews with a moderate level of supervision (relevant to the years of experience).
Nice to have
- Certifications including a CIA, CFE, CPA or Chartered Accountant are preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (private or public) or corporate/financial investigative experience is desired.
- Previous "Big 4" public accounting experience is preferred.
Compensation
- up to 10% annually.
- For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $95,000 to $120,000.
