2+ years' experience in inventory control, warehousing, purchasing, shipping, or related materials management functions.
Experience working with computerized inventory and purchasing systems.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including drug screen, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across departments.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple deadlines.

Working Conditions:

The expected salary range for this position is $31.52- $34.64 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.

Scope of Position
The Material Controller is responsible for supporting all aspects of the materials function, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, warehousing, purchasing support, and inventory replenishment activities.
This position requires a broad understanding of materials management processes and the ability to perform at a high level across all departments within the materials team.
The Material Controller ensures inventory accuracy, proper material handling, efficient storage practices, and timely support of internal and external customer needs.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
This role is onsite and is based in Blauvelt, NY.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Properly receive, store, bin, and palletize inventory.
Repackage materials as required.
Protect inventory from damage, corrosion, and deterioration.
