About the role

The portfolios are customized to client-specific objectives and aim to outperform traditional portfolios by embracing a long-term time horizon, flexible asset allocation, and robust portfolio construction.

Support the underwriting and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities, including direct assets, joint ventures, co-investments, and funds
Perform extensive due diligence on each transaction, travel to the, meet with partners, and underwrite markets and business plans
Independently design and review financial models, perform sensitivity analyses, and identify key assumptions, risks, value drivers, and inconsistencies with limited oversight
Conduct market research and comparable analysis using third-party data sources to support underwriting and ongoing idea generation
The Real Estate Investment Associate will support the underwriting, diligence, and execution of real estate investments within TPM portfolios.
Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.

In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field
Demonstrated financial modeling expertise, including experience underwriting real estate investments from the ground up and evaluating sponsor models
Experience supporting or managing real estate diligence processes across multiple workstreams

Collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership; willingness to engage across both analytical work and execution-oriented tasks
Interest in developing investment judgment over time within a team-oriented, portfolio-based investment platform
A high level of professional integrity

3+ years of real estate private equity investing/acquisitions experience (experience across full diligence processes is a plus)

$150,000 - $175,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses.
Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.
