About the role
- Assist with set up and take down all home athletic events.
- Work admission gate and concession stand for home games.
- Volleyball line judges and ball shagging for home games.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily tasks involved in running the Athletic Department (copies, typing documents).
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours in fall/spring semester.
- Must be able to run, bend, lift (50 lbs) without any restrictions.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Microsoft computer programs.
- Demonstrated multicultural competence.
- English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Normal office physical demands as well as being able to run/jog, bend and lift (50 lbs) without any restrictions.
- Normal office conditions and indoor/outdoor athletic court/field conditions.
