Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of market-based projects and identify investment opportunities to grow the Liquids Pipelines business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure Planning, Financial Analysis, Value Chain Optimization, and Customer Service.
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • This role plays a key leadership function in identifying and developing growth opportunities across our liquids pipelines and terminalling business.

Requirements

  • University Degree in engineering, economics, commerce or related field with 8+ years of directly related experience in business development or in the energy and/or pipeline industry.
  • Strong understanding of liquids pipeline systems, terminals operations, and North American crude oil markets (especially U.S. Mid-Continent).
  • Experience working within complex, cross-functional environments and getting results collaboratively.
  • Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.

Nice to have

  • Extensive knowledge of the North American liquids' market, refineries, producers, and midstream companies.
  • Established industry network and strong relationships across key market players.
  • In-depth understanding of crude oil flows, pipeline systems, and market dynamics.
  • Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Commerce is considered an asset.
