Responsibilities

  • The Electrical Engineer - Traffic Signal Design is a technical role within multidisciplinary infrastructure project teams based in Vancouver, BC area supporting projects across Canada.
  • The position focuses on the design and delivery of electrical systems supporting urban transportation infrastructure, with an emphasis on traffic signal systems.
  • The role contributes across multiple project phases, including preliminary design, detailed design, regulatory compliance, and construction support.
  • Design and implementation of electrical systems with experience in Traffic Signal Design.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, specifications, and reports in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in traffic signal design.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient design practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D softwares used for infrastructure projects.
