Responsibilities

  • a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
  • To support the growth and development of new hires, this position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.

Skills

  • General math, reading, computer skills. Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to read and understand blue prints and procedures.
  • Able to use/read calipers & micrometers.
  • Has good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, reading vision, hearing perception, and is able to speak clearly.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds; able to sit or stand for several hours at a time.
  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Required Experience:
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
