About the role

Our OverDrive autonomy stack enables ground vehicles to navigate and operate off-road in any terrain without GPS or direct operator control.

This role combines hands-on frontend development with technical leadership, guiding a small team building highly reliable, performant UIs used in real-world operational environments.
Lead the technical team responsible for developing a cutting-edge command-and- control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles.
Own the frontend architecture, defining coding standards, best practices, and design patterns for UI development.
Partner closely with UX designers to translate design systems into high-quality, production-ready implementations.
Collaborate with product managers to shape requirements and break work into clear, deliverable milestones.

Proven experience leading technical teams or serving in a technical leadership role Experience with different frontend development languages and frameworks.
Familiarity integrating with a variety of backend APIs.
Employment is contingent on the ability to comply with U.S. export control laws.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 3+ years relevant professional experience
OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience with React and TypeScript.
Desired Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience leading technical teams or serving in a technical leadership role Experience with different frontend development languages and frameworks.
The ideal candidate is comfortable making architectural trade-offs, collaborating across disciplines, and iterating quickly based on direct user feedback from the field.
