About the role
- Remain familiar with institutional policies and procedures as outlined in the College Catalog, and the Faculty Handbook and follow such policies and procedures.
- Didactic Instruction Clinical/Lab Instruction While Nursing Faculty are responsible for fulfilling all primary responsibilities listed above to achieve the immediate goals of the campus, he/she is responsible to meet all organization goals.
- Interprofessional faculty teaching non-clinical nursing courses shall have advanced preparation appropriate for the content being taught The Institution prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates.
Responsibilities
- Logan County Job Purpose Assist the Nursing Program Director and other faculty members in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum; to develop strategies to teach the curriculum; and to assist in the implementation of the course through teaching, supervising, and provision of academic advisement of students.
Requirements
- Have a graduate degree with a major in nursing
- Have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and:
- 10 years of direct care patient experience in nursing for full-time faculty, or
- 2 years of direct care patient experience in nursing for part-time faculty.
- are congruent with the qualifications of nursing faculty as required by Title 19, Series 1-11.1 of the West Virginia Legislative Rule.
