About the role
- Our Med Surg Department is looking for a Nurse Intern to join their team!
- The Nurse Intern always functions under the DIRECT and PRESENT supervision of the RN.
Nice to have
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Active certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) preferred.
- The student nurse will be in their fourth (4th) semester of a two year Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) program or in the fourth (4th) year of a four year Bachelors Degree of Nursing (BSN) program.
- Completion of basic clinical skills as required by their current nursing program.
- Graduate nurses who receive notification of failure of State Boards shall practice under the position description (NT).
- BLS Certification required.
Compensation
- $12k-$24k
