About the role
- Works under the direct supervision of the Medical Staff Coordinator.
- Primary responsibility is the processing of applications for appointment and/or clinical privileges within Riverside Health.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and updates appropriate databases for credentialed providers.
- Maintains all accessed information in a confidential manner.
- Notifies providers of regulatory documents (expirables) needed for maintenance of data base and credential files as appropriate to their responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Education
- Experience
- Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) - National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) (Preferred)
