Nice to have

  • Provide technical accounting and financial reporting guidance under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, including the review of financial statements and public company disclosures
  • Ensure compliance with firm methodology, quality management standards, CPAB requirements, and PCAOB inspection expectations while maintaining high audit quality
  • You consistently embody BDO Canada's core values-integrity, respect, collaboration, and accountability-across all aspects of your work
  • You embrace innovation through the effective use of digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance client service and audit quality
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of management experience and 2-5 years of public company audit experience within a public accounting environment.
  • Experience working with Canadian reporting issuers, SEC registrants, and/or companies pursuing public market transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Canadian public company reporting requirements, and public company assurance engagements
