Nice to have
- Provide technical accounting and financial reporting guidance under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, including the review of financial statements and public company disclosures
- Ensure compliance with firm methodology, quality management standards, CPAB requirements, and PCAOB inspection expectations while maintaining high audit quality
- You consistently embody BDO Canada's core values-integrity, respect, collaboration, and accountability-across all aspects of your work
- You embrace innovation through the effective use of digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance client service and audit quality
- CPA designation is required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of management experience and 2-5 years of public company audit experience within a public accounting environment.
- Experience working with Canadian reporting issuers, SEC registrants, and/or companies pursuing public market transactions.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Canadian public company reporting requirements, and public company assurance engagements
