About the role

- Prepare monthly general journal entries, schedules and provided analysis in support of quarterly reviews and annual audits..

- Prepare monthly general journal entries and provide accounting and analytical support to Management during the month end close process.
- Support management with special projects such as the implementation of departmental policies, procedures and controls.

Requirements

- Experience with PeopleSoft software or large company ERP systems a plusorganizational skills are necessary due to the nature of compiling and retaining detailed information for audits
Nice to have
- 2 years experience in accounting
- combined experience in public accounting and the private sector a plus.
- Hospitality experience preferred..
Skills
- Must have strong analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
- High level of proficiency in Excel - knowledge of complex formulas and PowerPivot will be a plus
- Ability to multitask and to work with large volumes of data
- Multi-currency experience is a plus Ability to work extra hours during month end close and as needed
Compensation
