- Mudflap is on a mission to transform the trucking and logistics industry by leveling the playing field for owner operators and small fleets.

Responsibilities
- Own key areas of Mudflap's freight marketplace roadmap from discovery through launch and iteration
- Develop deep expertise in carrier and broker workflows, marketplace dynamics, and freight operations
- Drive cross-functional execution with engineering, design, data, operations, and commercial teams
- Balance the needs of carriers, brokers, and Mudflap to create sustainable marketplace growth
- As a Senior Product Manager, Freight, you will help build the next generation of freight products at Mudflap.
- You'll work directly with Mudflap leadership and cross-functional partners to shape experiences that help carriers find, evaluate, book, and execute freight more effectively.
- You'll spend time with owner-operators, fleets, brokers, and internal teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive measurable business impact.

Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in freight, logistics, transportation technology, marketplaces, fintech, or related industries
- Strong track record of owning products from concept through launch and measurable business impact
- Experience working on operationally complex products involving multiple stakeholders and real-world constraints
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, network effects, liquidity challenges, and participant incentives
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate customer problems into practical product solutions
- Analytical mindset with the ability to define metrics, diagnose problems, and make data-informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve as new information emerges
Compensation
- Annual Company offsite event (Mudfest!)
- The salary range for this role is $195,000 - $215,000.
- This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available.
