Responsibilities
- Create property disposition schedules utilizing government applications, monitor and manage active disposition schedules and provide clear direction on disposition instructions.
- Using information systems to build and manage detailed spreadsheets and key performance metrics to support timely property disposition.
Requirements
- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree in business or related required.
Nice to have
- Prepare and submit accurate property reports to leadership.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders in property management and tracking.
- Interfaces with the Program Offices and Procurement to resolve outstanding actions related to incoming property.
- Proactively establish priorities, executing responsibilities with minimal supervision, and meeting deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as it pertains to Government Property preferred.
- Advanced skill level in Excel (including proficiency with pivot tables and v-lookup functions).
- Experience with the control and accountability of property in a government or commercial environment.
- Strong ability to learn computer applications, query tools within multiple software applications.
Skills
- The Property Specialist (on-site) serves as an integral member of the Supply Chain function.
- This position is heavily focused on inventory tracking, administration and maintenance of the property database.
