Responsibilities
- Provide and document assigned care, such as bathing, changing/refreshing bed linens, dressing/undressing, back rubs, etc.
- Take and document the patient's temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, weight and height.
- Perform treatment procedures, such as venous blood draws, enemas, application of ice and heat packs, non-sterile compresses, skin preps, setting up oxygen equipment, bed scale weights, setting up overhead trapeze and Buck's traction and removing urinary foley catheters.
- Perform hourly safety rounds, anticipate patient needs and respond to patient call lights promptly.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or within new hire period

- Prior job or educational experience providing basic computer knowledge and skills
Compensation
- A caregiver in this position works night s from 11:00PM - 7:30AM, including every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
