About the role

  • MIC provides turnkey facility integration solutions, including cleanroom and MEP construction, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment, facility monitoring and control systems, installation, and maintenance services.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Design and BIM Coordination
  • Develop, review, and support mechanical designs using Revit 3D and CAD software.
  • Review 3D models and mechanical drawings to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with BIM designers and project teams to confirm model updates, drawing revisions, and design changes.
  • Support the preparation and review of mechanical layouts, piping layouts, equipment layouts, construction drawings, and related design documentation.
  • Project Coordination and Construction Support
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, mechanical contractors, and field teams to support project execution.
  • Communicate with contractors regarding mechanical scope clarification, design requirements, construction sequencing, and schedule control.
  • Support construction-phase coordination to ensure mechanical work is aligned with project standards, schedules, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate clash detection activities and identify conflicts, discrepancies, or design concerns within the model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to review drawings, models, construction documentation, P&IDs, and PFDs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • English communication required.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, water treatment, DI water, UPW, cleanroom, process piping, HVAC, or MEP-related projects.
  • Experience working on or supporting active construction sites.
  • Knowledge of mechanical codes, piping standards, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, SMACNA, or related industry standards.
  • Experience coordinating with QA/QC teams, BIM teams, and field construction teams.

  • Experience using Revit 3D and CAD for design review, modeling coordination, or drawing review.
  • Previous experience supporting mechanical design, BIM coordination, construction coordination, or industrial facility projects.
  • Project coordination and project management skills.

  • Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design review, BIM coordination, construction coordination, and project execution for semiconductor, high-tech, water, UPW, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for reviewing mechanical designs, coordinating 3D models, supporting clash detection, and working closely with engineers, BIM designers, subcontractors, QA/QC teams, and field teams to support project execution.
  • The ideal candidate will have a mechanical design background, experience using Revit and CAD, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. This role plays a key part in improving design accuracy, supporting constructability, resolving coordination issues, and helping ensure mechanical scopes are aligned across multiple working areas.
  • Review P&IDs and PFDs as needed to cross-check 3D models and system requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, construction meetings, and sequencing meetings for mechanical scope coordination.
  • Coordinate with electrical, process, civil, structural, and other discipline teams regarding interface requirements and work sequence.
