About the role

  • You will work on creating standardized, scalable systems for CI/CD, Observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, cost optimization, and more.
  • Supporting the Infrastructure needs of the organization and identifying new opportunities to mature the path to production in a safe, cost effective way will also be an integral part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
  • Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity
  • Create new features for the platform with a meaningful value proposition
  • Experience building Internal Developer Platforms

Requirements

  • Experience with distributed systems architecture and design

Nice to have

  • 5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in at least one of (Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps)
  • Proven technical leadership experience.
  • Expertise in several of the following (ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, Cloud Cost Optimization)
  • Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred
  • AWS also acceptable).
  • Excellent communication skills aligning technology with user needs and organizational goals.
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
