About the role
- This position will be given the opportunity to learn and improve assessment and diagnostic skills, as well as treatment implementation through medication management, procedures, and other therapies in the context of specialty care.
- The APP Provider Fellow NP position will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a variety of team-based settings with the goal to transition to independent practice upon completion of their fellowship.
- Engages in team based interdisciplinary care.
Responsibilities
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) - American Heart Association and
- Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
- Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program
