- Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise Maintenance personnel and provide day‑to‑day leadership for the Maintenance department.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, evaluate, and develop employees.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using current technologies, data analysis, and CMMS software.
- Develop and execute aggressive yet achievable project schedules and realistic cost estimates in support of business requirements.
- Participate in and support initiatives related to cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Support:
- Support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning teams with accurate data for production scheduling, capacity planning, and material availability.
- Collaborate with EHS, HR, Engineering, Quality & Continuous Improvement teams to ensure data supports regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building automation systems.
- Focus on equipment reliability, HVAC, complex building systems, and vendor management.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED is standard, with vocational training, technical certificates, or an associate/bachelor's degree in facility management or industrial technology highly valued.
Nice to have
- Requires 5+ years of general Maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position preferred.
Skills
- Safety & Compliance: Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and risk management.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Administrative & Computer
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office, plus experience with budgeting.
- Common Industry-Specific Experience
- Industrial/Manufacturing: Focus on production machinery, robotics, and heavy equipment maintenance.
