About the role
- Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician Huntsman is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician supporting the HATC Shared Services Division located in HATC, TX.
- This position will report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
- The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable work environment while supporting ongoing maintenance and facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, inspections, and testing activities in the site CMMS.
- Support general facility maintenance activities, including building and grounds upkeep.
- Assist with laboratory instrument calibrations, safety system testing and inspections, and site event support activities.
- Support company goals through collaboration with maintenance, engineering, operations, and other site personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience as an Electrician Apprentice.
- Experience with electrical equipment, motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
- Experience with plumbing systems and fittings.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience operating lifts and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
- In addition to electrical responsibilities, the position requires proficiency in multiple industrial maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, mechanical systems, facility maintenance, and minor fabrication work.
- You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Nice to have
- Journeyman Electrician license.
- Experience with explosion-proof electrical equipment.
- Experience working in laboratory or chemical facility environments.
- Experience with rigging, machining, fabrication, and welding.
- First responder experience.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Working Environment
- Monday through Friday work schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
