About the role

  • Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician Huntsman is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician supporting the HATC Shared Services Division located in HATC, TX.
  • This position will report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
  • The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable work environment while supporting ongoing maintenance and facility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, inspections, and testing activities in the site CMMS.
  • Support general facility maintenance activities, including building and grounds upkeep.
  • Assist with laboratory instrument calibrations, safety system testing and inspections, and site event support activities.
  • Support company goals through collaboration with maintenance, engineering, operations, and other site personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience as an Electrician Apprentice.
  • Experience with electrical equipment, motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
  • Experience with plumbing systems and fittings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience operating lifts and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
  • The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
  • In addition to electrical responsibilities, the position requires proficiency in multiple industrial maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, mechanical systems, facility maintenance, and minor fabrication work.
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Nice to have

  • Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Experience with explosion-proof electrical equipment.
  • Experience working in laboratory or chemical facility environments.
  • Experience with rigging, machining, fabrication, and welding.
  • First responder experience.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Working Environment
  • Monday through Friday work schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
