About the role
- The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the forklift.
- For the purpose of stacking material, loading of trailers, and emptying full containers throughout the facility in an efficient and safe manner.
- Reports to shift supervisor for daily work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors are clean, and equipment is in proper operating condition.
- By combining local operational management with standardized business practices, we drive greater operating efficiencies across the company while maintaining day-to-day operational decisions at the local level, closest to the customer.
- Our customers, including small businesses, major corporations and municipalities, want a partner with the expertise and capabilities to effectively manage their multiple recycling and waste streams.
Requirements
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Nice to have
- Must complete and pass OSHA's requirements for forklift certification (powered industrial truck) training as set forth in 29 CFR 1910.178.

Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $20.30 to $27.87* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions.
