About the role
- This is an editor-first role: you'll spend most of your day in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Descript turning raw footage into content people actually watch.
- Speed and quality aren't a tradeoff here - we expect both.
- You'll take what's already working and level it up every single day, one video at a time.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end production: Shoot, edit, and publish - from talking-head Reels to studio podcast episodes. You'll run our NYC studio setup (camera, lighting, audio) and make every speaker look and sound their best.
- You'll partner with our content team on thumbnails, captions, and format choices.
- Own your metrics: Drive measurable growth in followers, views, watch time, shares, and saves from video content.
- 5+ years editing video across short, medium, and long formats, with in-house experience at a company (not solely agency or freelance) - you understand what it means to own outcomes, not just deliverables.

Requirements
- experience with social media editing and AI-assisted editing workflows.
- 2+ years of motion graphics animation experience.
- 2+ years shooting video (camera, lighting, audio) - studio and run-and-gun.
- A portfolio that proves you can make engaging, high-quality content fast.
- Familiarity with wealth management, personal finance, or B2C content.
- Deep curiosity about video trends and social algorithms - you know what's hitting before everyone else does.
