Responsibilities

  • Assist in design reviews for facilities systems by providing input, documenting comments, and helping make sure designs meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects.
  • Develop corrective action proposals and recommendations.
  • Develop installation packages for the hook-up, demolition, or relocation of production equipment.
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement programs using metrics and reporting systems.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.
  • Ability to create and maintain operating and training documents and manuals.

  • Facility Engineers are responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization, design and protection of physical facilities and equipment (building, power, water, sewer, chemical, piping, ventilation, lighting, space utilization, furniture, etc.) used to produce quality products.

Requirements

Nice to have

  • 480 and/or 208-volt power distribution experience.
  • Control systems troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of Arc Flash Safety requirements.
  • Work experience in a clean room desired.
  • Familiarity with PLC/SCADA platforms.
  • Understanding of ISO requirements.
  • Experience in scope of work review and bidding process.
  • Experience in hydronics.

Compensation

  • The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications.
  • The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000.

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education required with 0-3 years experience
