About the role
- Reviews work order to determine the size of film, tape, boxes, and other supplies have been provided at work stations.
- Verifies correct product, films, boxes, etc.
- Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunction of machine.
Responsibilities
- Performs minor mechanical repairs and light PM'S.
- Performs Material Handler functions, Operator Assistant functions, and Sanitation functions as necessary.
- Work overtime as needed Performs other duties as requested by Lead or Supervisor.
- Operates equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keeps work area clean Supports the Jacksonville plant FSQ and QRMP initiatives on any and all procedures/programs pertaining to product safety.
Requirements
- Experience in food/beverage manufacturing is required.
- Must have a solid understanding of process improvement methods.
- Computer skills required
- Performs all PQC (packaging quality control) checks Enters all required data into IQS(Infinity QS) data base Drive yield improvements through OSCAR and other initiatives to reduce losses.
