About the role
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigations, and inventory control processes.
- Train and mentor new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities and provide guidance to warehouse team members to support productivity, quality, and safety goals.
- Support receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment activities.
- McKesson is seeking a Lead Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations within our distribution center.
- In this hands-on leadership role, you will coordinate workflow, support inventory accuracy, train team members, and help ensure products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently.
- This position works alongside warehouse associates while serving as a subject matter expert and resource for the team to drive productivity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution center environment while complying with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Mandatory overtime required based on business needs.
- Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of warehouse KPIs, workflow coordination, and process improvement.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in varying warehouse conditions.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Mandatory Overtime as Required
