About the role

Serves as a campus resource for faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members.
Serves as a primary contact for students in crisis or distress, offering guidance, referrals, and intervention strategies to promote stability and academic persistence.

Performs case management, utilization review, quality assurance, and care planning, including assessment, identification of specific needs, and social service intervention within the University.

Conducts individualized assessments to identify students' academic, personal, and social needs, developing tailored intervention plans to support their success and well-being.
Provides ongoing case management and support by monitoring student progress, coordinating campus and community resources, and advocating for necessary accommodations or services.
Collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus partners to address student concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to student success and retention.
Maintains detailed and confidential records of student interactions, ensuring compliance with university policies and relevant regulations while facilitating seamless communication among support teams.

Masters degree in related field such as social work, psychology, or counseling is highly preferred.
