About the role
- The warehouse of the future contains high-density, high-precision racking with automated pallet shuttles (like our atlas 1D ) instead of wide aisles that forklifts need to pass through.
- Early 2021, we opened our US Office and have already grown to around 50 people.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and related quality instruments
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection methods
- Strong independent decision-making skills with the ability to halt or stop production lines immediately when parts fail to meet quality standards
- Physical Work Conditions the Quality Specialist is required to work in an industrial manufacturing environment for the duration of their shift.
- The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- The employee must be able to safely navigate the production floor, work near moving equipment, and maintain focus and accuracy while performing quality inspections and coaching activities under these conditions.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of quality control or manufacturing inspection experience required with welding/metal fabrication knowledge preferred
- Basic understanding of chemical processes and coatings (preferred)
Skills
- Carry out in-depth internal audits according to a fixed audit plan
- Perform internal audits of workstations
- Negotiate and coordinate with the relevant departments and managers
- Follow up on corrective actions
- Monitoring controls in case of non-conformities
- Perform load tests
- Draft an internal complaint in case of non-conformities / NCRs
- In case of non-conformities, pass on the necessary information to the Quality Administrator
- Prepare an inventory of measuring tools → calibration
