About the role

The Head of Lighting & Video is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Lighting and Video Department, including overseeing all video and lighting technical elements, and show crew running tracks.
The Head of Lighting & Video oversees all technical and safety aspects of the department, including the construction, repair, purchase, and maintenance of all lighting and video equipment, as well as consumable items.
The Head of Lighting & Video participates in the hiring, training, corrective action, termination, evaluation, performance development, and scheduling of all members of the department.

Manage Lighting and Video team; Oversee department operations;
Create a healthy and respective workplace environment with your department, the Production team, and the community;
Maintain the departmental budget and follow all General Management procedures for using purchase orders and submitting receipts;
Create and execute show contingency plans;
Support gigs and marketing events;
Design, organize, and supervise the set-up of lighting and video elements and crew as needed;
Assist other departments when necessary for cross-departmental support;

Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts or a similar field
At least 5 years of previous experience or in a similar environment;
The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required;
Strong technical knowledge of Lighting and Video;
The ability to work effectively in low-light environments;
Experience operating video consoles during a live show;
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle technical issues swiftly during a live show;
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications;
