Specifies, requisitions, and supports the installation of parts and equipment.
Supports maintenance planning activities as needed.
Identifies and supports training of mechanics.
Supports repairs, maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery which is used in the process.
Troubleshoots and directs repairs of malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
Interfaces with Maintenance and Reliability engineering to support maintenance and reliability improvement efforts.

This role utilizes technical knowledge, EHS expertise, and manufacturing experience to support the maintenance staff and enable safe and reliable operations of mechanical equipment across the site.
This role is critical for developing and maintaining site expertise, improving work processes, and building a highly reliable team.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking plus 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of experience working directly with rotating equipment.
Willing and able to participate in maintenance support on call schedule (approximately one week per quarter)

Physical Requirements
Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Lift, push, carry and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
Able to work in a laboratory environment which requires minimal supervision.
Adapt to the Rhythm of Shiftwork.
Work in and around tight spaces and large machinery.
Be able to repeatedly sit down and stand up from a chair at a workstation.
