Responsibilities
- Specifies, requisitions, and supports the installation of parts and equipment.
- Supports maintenance planning activities as needed.
- Identifies and supports training of mechanics.
- Supports repairs, maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery which is used in the process.
- Troubleshoots and directs repairs of malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
- Interfaces with Maintenance and Reliability engineering to support maintenance and reliability improvement efforts.

- This role utilizes technical knowledge, EHS expertise, and manufacturing experience to support the maintenance staff and enable safe and reliable operations of mechanical equipment across the site.

Requirements
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking plus 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of experience working directly with rotating equipment.
- Willing and able to participate in maintenance support on call schedule (approximately one week per quarter)

- Physical Requirements
- Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Lift, push, carry and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Able to work in a laboratory environment which requires minimal supervision.
- Adapt to the Rhythm of Shiftwork.
- Work in and around tight spaces and large machinery.
- Be able to repeatedly sit down and stand up from a chair at a workstation.
Nice to have
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of experience working directly with rotating equipment.
- A degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.
