Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and materials employees
- implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve complex material, inventory, and supply chain issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead or participate in cross‑functional teams and interdepartmental meetings involving Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Engineering.
- Coordinate activities with support organizations and represent the site during audits, inspections, and organization‑wide initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, inventory accuracy, waste reduction, quality, and cost control.
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, purchase card transactions, and evaluation of cost‑saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a regulated or cGMP environment
- Experience in warehouse or supply chain operations
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree
- Significant supply chain leadership and project management experience
- Experience with SAP
Skills
- Supervise day‑to‑day warehouse and materials operations, including receiving, storage, staging, material issuance, and shipping activities.
- Assign work tasks and priorities to ensure timely material availability aligned with production schedules.
- Utilize SAP to track inventory, materials movement, transactions, and physical inventory adjustments.
- Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventory counts; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with cGMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and audit readiness standards.
- Monitor and report warehouse and materials KPIs; analyze trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Establish visual management tools and metrics to improve performance, audit readiness, and process transparency.
- Investigate deviations, initiate appropriate actions, and ensure timely closure of deviations, CAPAs, and change actions.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and compliant with SOPs, safety practices, PPE requirements, and gowning procedures.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Serve as backup for the immediate manager when needed and provide leadership continuity.
