About the role
- This is a hands-on role involving fabrication, testing, and real-work vehicle work.
- one day you're on a lift pulling parts for an engineer, the next you're running a pressure or heat transfer test and presenting findings to the team.
- The ideal candidate brings mechanical aptitude, a bias towards action, and genuine enthusiasm for performance vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Build physical prototypes for the product engineers.
- Maintain all equipment and machines in the shop; maintain and continuously improve overall shop safety.
- Document results and present data to engineers in a clear manner.
- Create written install guides for new and existing products.
- Ability to use 3D modeling software; read and create 2D drawings is a plus
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, including welding, material selection, and assembly methods.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Skills and experience matter - but so does who you are.
- A personal passion for auto products and the industry - nobody knows what a car enthusiast wants in a product better than a car enthusiast.
- Strong timeliness and attention to detail.
- Electromechanical experience building custom machinery or test rigs is a plus
