Job Description Tesla Laboratories is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Engineer to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), serving the Pacific and Alaska Regions.
The successful candidate will oversee planning, design, construction support, compliance, and lifecycle management of complex facilities and infrastructure systems.
Engineering Design & Project Development Lead engineering planning and design for facility modernization projects.
Perform facility assessments and site investigations.
Develop engineering solutions for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), structural, and facility infrastructure projects.
Review architectural and engineering design documents for technical accuracy and constructability.
Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation.
Support sustainable building initiatives and energy-efficient facility improvements.
Construction & Contract Support Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) for construction and facility projects.
Support technical evaluations during procurement activities.

Tesla Laboratories is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Cyber Security, Intelligence Analysis, Financial Management, Facilities Engineering Services, and Program Management support to the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal government customers.
This position provides engineering leadership for facility infrastructure projects supporting mission-critical weather forecasting operations across Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, and other remote locations.
