Responsibilities

  • Job Description Tesla Laboratories is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Engineer to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), serving the Pacific and Alaska Regions.
  • The successful candidate will oversee planning, design, construction support, compliance, and lifecycle management of complex facilities and infrastructure systems.
  • Engineering Design & Project Development Lead engineering planning and design for facility modernization projects.
  • Perform facility assessments and site investigations.
  • Develop engineering solutions for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), structural, and facility infrastructure projects.
  • Review architectural and engineering design documents for technical accuracy and constructability.
  • Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Support sustainable building initiatives and energy-efficient facility improvements.
  • Construction & Contract Support Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) for construction and facility projects.
  • Support technical evaluations during procurement activities.
