About the role

  • As a Financial Control Consultant, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and advance your accounting, reporting, auditing, financial analysis and computer system skills by acting as the primary liaison to Corporate Finance or other financial partners on more complex matters.
  • This position will support establishment and maintenance of controls to ensure operational integrity and meet requirements set forth by internal and external audit partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operations on root cause analysis, resolution, and correction of suspense out of balances
  • Support strategic/department initiatives by providing accounting and control expertise.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or Business OR 6+ years accounting or financial reporting and analysis experience
  • 3+ years accounting or financial reporting and analysis experience
  • 3+ years General Ledger knowledge (chart of accounts) and ability to independently analyze
  • 3+ years of transactional processing on insurance products and the associated accounting
