About the role

  • This role will work closely with our teams in Germany to ensure core product scalability.
  • Willing and able to travel up to three months
  • Work with middleware platforms like ROS 2 for real-time communication and modularity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy software for robotic systems with a focus on motion planning, perception, and control.
  • Design algorithms for path planning, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance.
  • Implement and test advanced software for sensor fusion, localization, and mapping.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate robotic arms, grippers, and sensors.
  • Optimize system performance for real-time operation in production environments.
  • You'll collaborate closely with hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware, pushing the boundaries of what our robots can achieve.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing robotic systems or automation platforms.
  • Solid experience with ROS 2, Isaac Sim, and simulation environments.
  • Experience working with perception systems like cameras, LiDAR, or depth sensors.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and system modeling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to 2 months for onboarding period.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
