- This onsite position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager and is based at our corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of machine design and part specifications;
- Develop, review, and maintain safety documentation, technical reports, and compliance certifications;
- Investigate incidents and near misses and develop solutions for incorporation into future designs or procedures;
- Support for Community Involvement/Philanthropy
Requirements
- The qualified candidate will possess, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and three or more years of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with CE compliance a plus.
Skills
- Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments;
- Reviewing certified prints for safety and adequate guarding;
- Stay current with regulations and standards related to industrial food processing machinery and food contact materials;
- Attend trade shows to understand customer needs.
- Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
