Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of machine design and part specifications;
  • Develop, review, and maintain safety documentation, technical reports, and compliance certifications;
  • Investigate incidents and near misses and develop solutions for incorporation into future designs or procedures;
  • Support for Community Involvement/Philanthropy

Requirements

  • The qualified candidate will possess, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and three or more years of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with CE compliance a plus.

Skills

  • Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments;
  • Reviewing certified prints for safety and adequate guarding;
  • Stay current with regulations and standards related to industrial food processing machinery and food contact materials;
  • Attend trade shows to understand customer needs.
  • Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
