Responsibilities

  • We strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime, but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it.
  • Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
  • Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Whether you are beginning your hospitality career or bringing years of experience, you'll find opportunities to learn, develop, and make an impact.
  • All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy times due to special events.

Nice to have

  • Greets guests as they are seated at the table
  • ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
  • Distributes menus and presents the daily specials.
  • Answers questions regarding the menu.
  • Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to guests' satisfaction
  • returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
  • Collects plates and clears the table as guests finish their meals.
  • Prepares guests' checks and collects payments.

Compensation

  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
  • Notice of Tip Credit: Federal and state law allows employers to use a tip credit toward their minimum wage obligation for tipped associates.
  • To clarify, $3.60 comes from your base hourly rate with a tip credit of $3.65 applied so that the average hourly rate is no less than $7.25 per hour.
